Seed Saving

Saving Seed is our inherent right as children of the Earth. People have been saving seeds for as long as we have been practicing agriculture.

Seeds hold a vital life force and are encoded with specific genetics for the region in which they were grown. They hold stories and are a part of the identity of the cultures who cared for them. Indigenous people, farmers, plant breeders, and home gardeners have hand-selected varieties for their tastes and needs around the globe.

Sadly much of this diversity is being lost, and it is our responsibility as farmers to care for these genetics for future generations.

Earth Grower can help you get set up to save your own seed, select for specific traits, store them properly, and hopefully share them with your family and friends.
